Some of the fam may know but I've been creating music since the 6th grade. That was my ultimate goal in life. I wanted to be a rapper and producer.

As I got older my ambition started being less noble and became an unhealthy way for me to be seen. Of course at that time I didn't know that, I just knew it stopped feeling good after awhile so I stopped creating.

It took me some time and the spontaneous help from some friends and family in 2017, but I got back on the horse! Music now has become a source of expression and nothing that I would enjoy pursuing professionally, that was until I got the courage to create my take on worship music.

I was invited by a fellow Projector to use music to continue to express myself but also to allow the Universe to create music through me, instead of having my own personal agenda.

So I let my hair down, shook off that fear, and started making music about what's really important to me. Whether it's Religion or Spirituality, all roads lead home, to God. Although it is clear that I am using the path of Spirituality to meet God, it may be different from you and it is in that difference that our Human Experience truly comes alive.

"The song opens with a very deep and melancholy line that discusses death and love. As the song continues on we hear Guruji Chastity talk about how the realization of death and love has created an infatuation to be next to God.

The song is expressed in first person, so Guruji finds herself expressing her heart directly to God. There's a mix of Guruji's natural voice and this deep sometimes scary and penetrating voice behind her. I learned that this was Guruji's take on the Inner Child and the Ego. The Inner Child is heard by Guruji's natural voice, while the deep voice represents Guruji's Ego.

It's quite an experience to hear Guruji's music with headphones. Listening with headphones takes you on a rollercoaster of unpredictable movement through the tone of her voice. As we talked about this first launch, Guruji shared that in her Human Design chart her Incarnation Cross points out that one of her greatest strengths would be to use the tone of her voice to infect others toward individualization. It's safe to say she's on the right path."
